Watching your daughter suffer is one of the hardest things a parent goes through. This prayer asks God to heal her and to carry you both through the waiting. Say it as often as you need to.
Father, I come to You for my daughter. She is sick, and I’m asking You to make her well.
You formed her and You know her body completely. Please heal her. Touch the places that hurt and restore what isn’t working the way it should. Give her strength for treatments and rest for her body.
Be with her doctors and nurses. Give them clear minds and steady hands. Help them make good decisions, and help us understand what they tell us.
Comfort my daughter. When she is scared, hold her. When she is worn out, lift her up. Let her know she isn’t facing this alone. Send people to sit with her and make her laugh.
Lord, my heart is heavy. I wish I could take this from her. Since I can’t, I’m giving it to You. Help me trust You on the long nights and the bad news days.
Please bring my girl back to health. I’m holding on to You.

Sometimes a daughter gets sick while living in another city, and you can’t be at her bedside. Praying for her is something you can do from anywhere. Let her know you are praying, and ask what she would like you to pray about.
