I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am convinced is in you as well.
2 Timothy 1:5
A granddaughter is a gift that keeps surprising you. This prayer asks God to protect her, to help her know her worth and to draw her close to Him. Put her name in it and pray it as often as you like.
Lord, thank You for my granddaughter. I love her more than I can put into words.
Keep her safe today. Watch over her at home, at school and everywhere in between. Protect her from illness and from anyone who would hurt her.
Help her grow up knowing she is loved and valued. When she starts comparing herself to others, remind her that You made her just as she is. Give her confidence that doesn’t depend on what anyone else thinks.
Let her be kind and brave. Give her good friends and a good heart.
Bless her parents as they raise her. Give them wisdom and patience, and let their home be full of love.
Draw my granddaughter close to You, Lord. Let her faith grow with her, and let it carry her through every season of her life.
Help me be a grandparent she can talk to, someone she trusts. Let our time together be full of laughter and good memories.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
A short prayer by name, every morning. Free to start.

2 Timothy 1:5
I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.
Psalm 139:14
The LORD will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121:8
Lord, bless my granddaughter today. Keep her safe and well. Help her know how loved and valued she is, by her family and by You. Give her a kind heart and good friends. Draw her close to You as she grows, and let her always feel at home with me. Amen.
Prayer can go hand in hand with small acts of love. Send her a card with a verse in it, or tell her you prayed for her this morning. When she visits, you might pray together before she falls asleep. Moments like these can mean a lot to a child.
