Lord, thank You for my daughter on her birthday.
I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday, and somehow she is a year older again. Thank You for every one of those years, for her laugh and even her stubborn streak.
Bless her as she begins this new year. Give her good health and a peaceful heart. Bring good things her way, real friends and moments of joy she doesn’t expect.
Let her grow in confidence this year. Help her see the gifts You put in her and use them well. When she doubts herself, remind her who she is in You.
Keep her safe wherever this year takes her. Give her wisdom for every decision and patience in every season of waiting.
Thank You that I get to be her parent. Help me cheer her on and love her well.

If she lives far away, you can send a short blessing by text or in a card. For example: “Happy birthday, sweetheart. I thank God for you, and I’m praying for your best year yet.” Pairing it with one of the verses above gives her something to keep.
