Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise.
Jeremiah 17:14
When you or someone you love is sick, prayer is often the first thing you reach for. This prayer asks God for healing of body, mind and spirit.
Lord, I need Your healing.
You made this body and You know everything about it: what hurts, what is broken, what the doctors can see and what they can’t. I bring it all to You.
Please heal me. Restore my strength. Ease the pain, and help my body recover.
Guide the doctors, nurses and everyone caring for me. Give them wisdom, and let the treatment work.
Heal my mind too: the fear, the waiting, the worry about what comes next. Fill me with Your peace.
Whatever happens, keep me close to You. I trust that You are good and that You are with me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise.
Jeremiah 17:14
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all His kind deeds — He who forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases,
Psalm 103:2–3
Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers.
3 John 1:2
Lord, You are the healer. Please heal me, body, mind and spirit. Amen.
Praying for someone else? Say their name instead of “me.”
Healing doesn’t always come quickly, and waiting for results or recovery can be the hardest part. Many people pray the same short prayer every day of an illness. Asking others to pray with you can help carry the load.
