Psalm 147:3
A broken heart can come from a breakup, a betrayal, a divorce or a friendship that ended. Whatever broke it, this prayer brings the pieces to God.
Lord, my heart is broken, and I don’t know how to put it back together.
I keep replaying what happened. I keep asking what I could have done differently. You know every part of this story, even the parts no one else sees.
Heal what is hurting in me. Bind up the wounds I can’t reach on my own.
Keep me from bitterness. Help me be honest about the pain without letting it harden me.
On the nights when it feels worst, be close. Remind me that being left by someone doesn’t mean being left by You.
Give me hope that my heart can love and trust again, in Your time.

A broken heart rarely heals in a straight line. Some days feel almost normal, and then a photo or a song brings it all back. That’s normal. Keep praying, keep talking to people who love you, and give yourself time.
