Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The loving devotion of God endures all day long.
Psalm 52:1
Berean Standard Bible · 9 verses
Psalm 52 is attributed to David, from the time Doeg the Edomite told Saul where David had gone. It addresses a powerful man who loves lies and trusts in his wealth, and says his downfall will come. The writer pictures himself instead as an olive tree growing in God’s house, trusting God’s love forever.
