Lord, I don’t want someone you love to come to you only in emergencies. Let being near you be the ordinary place someone you love lives, at work or lying awake at night.
On the days when the world feels unsafe, let someone you love already know where to go. Make trusting you feel less like a decision and more like coming home. Keep someone you love close to you today, whatever the day holds. Amen.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
